Why ED-ED slogans were raised in front of Yamini?
Yashwant Jadhav, husband of Byculla MLA Yamini Jadhav, is a former chairman of the standing committee of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. The ED is probing the case against him related to the alleged violation of FEMA. At the same time, before the ED investigation, Income Tax officials had attached a flat in Bandra to the Jadhav family and about 40 properties belonging to Yashwant on charges of tax evasion.

BJP MLAs raised slogans of Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji and Jai Shri Ram inside the assembly. The MLAs also raised the slogan of Har Har Mahadev if Rahul Narvekar wins. On the other hand, Narvekar greeted the entire house after the victory.
39 Shiv Sena MLAs Support Narvekar
In the voting for the speaker election, 39 MLAs of Shiv Sena voted in support of Shinde’s supporter Rahul Narvekar. Uddhav Thackeray-appointed Chief Whip Sunil Prabhu said that 39 MLAs have cross-voted despite the issue of whip. Will take further action. Here, Shinde faction has also given disqualification letter against 16 MLAs.
Shinde-backed Narvekar got 164 votes
Rahul Narvekar of BJP has been appointed as the new speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. Narvekar had the support of Shinde. A total of 272 MLAs cast their votes in the election, in which Narvekar got 164 votes. On the other hand, Rajan Salvi of Shiv Sena got 107 votes. 3 MLAs boycotted the vote, while 12 MLAs remained missing.
