The magazine also said that all allegations leveled by Kangana are false and that her invitation to the actress was an attempt to bring all film personalities together to celebrate ‘Indian cinema’.
It also became clear that the Filmfare Awards are given even when the nominee does not attend or perform at the ceremony. The magazine also said that Kangana is a five-time Filmfare award winner and two of those awards were given in her absence.
The Filmfare statement concluded by saying that the program is withdrawing her Best Actress nomination for the film ‘Thalaivi’.
