In the latest BJP vs AAP in Delhi, protest demanding dismissal of Kejriwal government; meet the president tomorrow

Intensifying their fight against the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the national capital over the alleged liquor scam, all Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs will meet President Draupadi Murmu on Tuesday to demand the dismissal of the Arvind Kejriwal government.

Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri said, “All BJP MLAs will submit a memorandum to Rashtrapatiji tomorrow and demand the sacking of the corrupt Kejriwal government.”

This came after the BJP on Monday released a “sting operation” video which purportedly showed Sunny Marwah’s father Kulwinder Marwah, accused number 13 in the liquor scam case, to obtain a liquor license in Delhi’s “Commission”. “The method shown in the video is that 80 per cent of the profit will go to (Chief Minister Arvind) Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and their friends. First you give us our 80-percent commission and then sell 20 percent as you can, we don’t care. This has been Kejriwal’s policy,” said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Sambit Patra.

Patra claimed that it was clear from the sting operation that the AAP government in Delhi “invited blacklisted companies and gave them contracts”.

15 people, including Sisodia, have been named in an FIR registered by the CBI in connection with the agency’s ongoing probe into alleged corruption in the implementation of the new excise policy in Delhi. A case has been registered against excise officials, liquor company officials, dealers along with some unknown public servants and private persons in this case.

Sisodia has been saying that he has been made an accused in a false case to stop the march of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has emerged as an alternative to the Prime Minister. Narendra Modi In view of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
