Ahead of the second match of the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, India pacer Pooja Vastrakar said that she wants her team to win the match against the hosts by a huge margin. India will take on Sri Lanka team in the second match of the series on Monday India is leading 1-0 in the series. Pooja Vastrakar played an aggressive innings of 21 not out (19 balls) after taking two wickets for 26 runs in the first ODI against the hosts.

“We will approach our first game in the second match. And we would like to win the series 3-0. Our approach is to dominate Sri Lanka in the second match,” Pooja Vastrakar said at the pre-match press conference.
“I have been spending a lot of time with the bowling coach and batting coach in the practice sessions. Earlier I had no experience, now I have gained experience by talking to most of my seniors. After gaining so much experience now I can go to the field. And implement those suggestions in the game,” she said.
Talking about the other young bowlers in the team, Vastrakar said, “We are all young and have known each other since the U-19 days. It’s nice to work.”
Talking about India’s last match against Sri Lanka, the all-round team India defeated Sri Lanka by four wickets in the first ODI of the three-match series at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium here on Friday. For the Women in Blue, Harmanpreet Kaur and Shafali Verma scored 44 and 35 respectively as the visitors chased down the target of 172 with 12 overs to go. Earlier, Hasini Perera (37) and Nilakshi de Silva (46) were in vain due to brilliant bowling from Renuka Singh and Deepti Sharma to bundle out Sri Lanka for a total of 171.
