With him, it was like arguing and fighting with your parents. That street Bhi deta tha, dhaka bhi marte thaye (he used to swear and even push me) and kahenge pagal ho gaya hai tu (You have gone mad). We used to fight amongst ourselves often.”

After pointing out the differences, Karan also spoke about the similarities between the two talented actors. He said, “The similarity between Ranbir and Chintu uncle is that they both surrender to the vision of the film and the filmmaker. They will not try to spoil it. That is their greatest quality.” He further added that both Rishi and Ranbir gave him what he wanted from them, adding, “At times he gave me more than I expected. He never worked for himself. There could have been so much drama on the sets, Because both were such big stars. But they were professionals and they worked for the film.”
