Mastercard on Monday tied up with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to acquire title sponsorship rights for international and domestic matches.
Financial Services Corporation replaced Paytm, the earlier sponsor, which held the rights for seven years.
MasterCard will be the title sponsor of all international matches (both men’s and women’s) held at home. The deal includes sponsorship of domestic cricket matches such as the Irani Trophy, Duleep Trophy and Ranji Trophy organized by the BCCI, as well as all junior cricket (under 19 and under 23) matches held in India.

The company is invested in sponsorships around the world and is associated with the UEFA Champions League, the Grammys, the Cannes Film Festival and the Australian and French Open tennis tournaments.

Initially coming in for the white-ball series ahead of the coveted Border-Gavaskar Trophy, while domestic cricket saw the return of the Duleep Trophy and a packed calendar with a full Ranji Trophy season piling up across all age groups in the 2022-23 season.
