People of Telangana yearn for ‘double engine growth’: PM Modi at Hyderabad rally India News – Times of India

New Delhi: Sounding the election bugle for 2023 Telangana assembly election prime minister Narendra Modi On Sunday, he said that the people of the state are yearning for “double engine growth”, which will happen when the BJP comes to power.
Addressing a massive public meeting titled ‘Vijay Sankalp Sabha’ at Parade Ground in Hyderabad, PM Modi He said that when BJP’s double engine government is formed in Telangana, development works will accelerate in every city and village of the state.
Citing the example of other states, the Prime Minister said that the double engine government of the BJP has increased the confidence of the people.
“In Telangana also people are paving the way for the BJP’s double engine government,” he said.
The Prime Minister spoke at length about the various policies launched by the BJP government for the welfare of the poor, downtrodden and tribals.
“The BJP is not only creating projects of innovation and technology but is also providing resources to the poor brothers and sisters. We are making continuous efforts for the welfare of the farmers of Telangana,” he said.
PM Modi said that the length of national highways in Telangana has doubled in the last 8 years.
Praising the hard work of the people of Telangana, the Prime Minister said that the southern state has a lot of talent.
PM Modi said, “Telangana is also known for its history and culture… Its art and architecture is a matter of pride for all of us.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who also addressed the rally, slammed the K Chandrashekhar Rao-led Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government in the state.
“KCR doesn’t care about your source of livelihood. He doesn’t care about unemployed youth. He just wants to make his son the chief minister,” he said.
Shah insisted that in 2023, it is not KCR’s son but the BJP that will form the government in the state.
Addressing the rally, BJP President JP Nadda said that the state is suffering huge losses due to the KCR government.
“People are troubled by the corruption and injustice of the KCR government. The state has suffered a loss of Rs 4.5 lakh crore under him.
Referring to the BJP’s impressive performance in the local body elections, Nadda said, “People gave us good response in the recent elections held at various levels in the state.”
