Mumbai: Chief Minister Eknathi after winning the floor test in Maharashtra Assembly Shinde Visited Monday Night’s Memorial Shiv Sena Founder Bal Thackeray said at Shivaji Park in Dadar area of ​​Mumbai that his government belongs to the common man.
He offered flowers to the structure at around 7.30 pm along with Shiv Sena MLAs who had joined his faction.
“This government came to power by winning the trust vote with a thumping majority of 164 against 99 with the blessings of Balasaheb Thackeray,” Shinde told reporters.
Earlier, he also paid homage to the martyrs of the Samyukta Maharashtra movement at the Hutatma Chowk memorial in South Mumbai and at Chaityabhoomi honored by the followers of BR Ambedkar.
Shinde took a special bus from Shivaji Park to his residence in Thane city where he was accorded a warm welcome by the workers.
Ornamental arches and huge hoardings were put up at various places in Thane. The main traffic junctions were decorated with colorful decorations.
When the bus carrying Shinde, MLA Thane’s Kopri-Pachpakhadi, and others arrive at Anand Nagar check post on Eastern Express Highway, former Thane mayor Naresh Mahaske And others welcomed him with bouquets.
Amidst the heavy rain, Shinde’s loyal workers shouted slogans and burst firecrackers while blaming the trumpet.
Shinde then went to Anand Ashram, the seat of his guru Late Anand Dighe, where he was welcomed with the beat of drums.
He was also congratulated by his old school.
Shinde was emotionally overwhelmed when he paid tribute at ‘Shakti Sthal’, the memorial in Dighe.
A large number of Shiv Sena leaders, soldiers and women praised Shinde, a resident of Louiswadi area.
Shinde reached his residence after about 13 days where he was accorded a ceremonial welcome by his family members.
