“I don’t know what to say right now, just soaking in the moment. Thank you so much for your support. Just don’t know how I got here, honestly. Played to the point, tried to fight as much as I could.” I can,” Bouzkova was quoted as saying after the match.

“Just enjoyed the moments, tried to embrace all the emotions today. Reaching the quarter-finals is a dream,” he said.

In the tournament, unseeded Bouzkova made a strong start to the championship with a 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 win over USA No. 7 seed Daniel Collins on Court 3.

After this, she did not look back and continued to win matches one after the other. Actually, this young player has won eight sets in a row after losing the first set against Collins.

Buzkova also defeated 28th seed Alison Riske-Amritraj in the third round.
